Biographical information

Embarking on a journey fueled by tenacity and a passion for the arts, my professional evolution has been a testament to my commitment to excellence and innovation in marketing and communications. Currently serving as the Marketing & Communications Manager at ArtPride New Jersey, my career trajectory is a reflection of a steadfast dedication to nurturing growth and fostering connections within both the arts and the for-profit sectors. My academic background in theater laid the groundwork for a multifaceted career that initially took shape in the world of acting, where I honed my skills in grassroots marketing strategies to promote theatrical productions. This hands-on experience was instrumental in cultivating my expertise in audience engagement, particularly in the highly competitive New York City market. At Artistic Pride Productions, where I served as Managing Director, I spearheaded the development and implementation of innovative strategies that resulted in a significant 18% audience growth, achieved without the aid of a marketing budget. This achievement underscores my ability to leverage resources creatively and effectively. My proficiency extends to data analysis, where I have utilized a diverse array of platforms, ranging from custom Excel spreadsheets to Raiser's Edge, to drive strategic decision-making. My tenure at the Philadelphia Art Alliance, serving in dual roles as Membership Coordinator and Events/Social Media Coordinator, was marked by tangible successes in increasing event bookings and deepening engagement with our audience segments. Notably, focused marketing efforts led to a 16% increase in event bookings within a year, showcasing my ability to deliver measurable results through targeted communications strategies. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am deeply committed to volunteering my skills and knowledge to support the arts community. This has included serving as Board Secretary for a nonprofit children's theater in Philadelphia, chairing a steering committee aimed at diversifying the audience base for an opera company, and contributing to strategic planning efforts within the arts sector. These roles have not only allowed me to give back but have also enriched my understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the arts community. I am particularly proud of my involvement with ArtPride New Jersey, an organization that plays a pivotal role in elevating the profile of New Jersey's vibrant arts scene. My journey, from the early days of my career to my current position, has been driven by a belief in the transformative power of the arts and a commitment to advancing the reach and impact of artistic endeavors through strategic marketing and communication efforts.
